强宜是夜总会的红歌星，一曲唱罢，接到台下一张纸条，告知他失散多年的初恋女友水仙的下落。强宜被人带到一木屋，里面是匪帮头子一哥。原来，强宜少时误入歧途，有打劫杀人的犯罪纪录，绰号“小煞星”。一哥要挟他共同打劫珠宝行，否则公开他的秘密。强宜假意应承，从长计议。想不到当日行动踏入珠宝行，发现售货员竟是初恋女友水仙。
"Godfather of the kung-fu film" Chang Cheh even wrote the song lyrics for this special crime thriller. David Chiang stars as a nightclub vocalist whose former criminal friends blackmail him into working with them again. In addition to such exceptional stalwarts as Ti Lung and Ku Feng, the rest of the cast includes such action actors as Chen Hsing, (The Invincible Fist) and Stanley Feng Tsui-fan (Hong Kong Superman) -- all under the guidance of master kung-fu choreographers Liu Chia-liang and Tang Chia.
